In a future not too far away, killer storms are a daily occurrence. Jaden feels lucky to be able to spend the summer at Placid Meadows, the storm-safe community that her father helped to build. Jaden’s father, a renowned weather scientist, also runs a summer camp, where Jaden meets Alex and Risha. Together Alex and Jaden begin to work on way so dissipate the storms before they do any damage, despite the fact that Jaden’s father is trying to by the farm where Alex’s family lives. When Jaden discovers what her father is really working on, she must decide what the right thing to do is, even if it hurts her own family.
