I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai
Malala Yousafzai refused to let the Taliban take her education away from her, and she paid a terrible price. Because of her out-spoken opinions about the Taliban's desire to not let girls become educated, an attempt was made on her life in 2012 when she was just 15 years old. Shot in the head at point-blank range, Malala not only survived, but went on to become the youngest winner ever of the Nobel Peace Prize. Told her in her own voice, Malala's story is an inspirational read.
