Destiny Rewritten by Kathryn Fitzmaurice
Emily’s mother believes in destiny. Finding a book of poems
by Emily Dickinson the day before Emily was born was how her mother named her.
In the book of poems, Emily’s mother writes notes about the great events in
Emily’s life. But the one thing she won’t tell Emily is who her father is.
Emily, tired of waiting for her destiny to just happen, tries to hurry it along
by looking for the name of her father in the book. But before she can find it,
fate takes the book away from it. On Emily’s quest to find the book, and her
father, she learns along the way that sometimes you have to take charge of your
own destiny.
